The deer hunt we provide is a trophy whitetail hunt. This is a semi-guided hunt and the tree stands and ground blinds are provided. We have hundreds of CRP acres that host some monster whitetails. The hunter can decide whether her or she wants to hunt with a bow or rifle. We usually put our bow hunters in small tree claims that bucks use to make scrapes and rubs. This type of hunting is very effective especailly during the pre-rut and rut stages. Archery deer season opens in late September and goes through December.
Our rifle hunts will take place on our CRP acres. We like to hunt CRP late because the deer move to heavier cover later in the year. We supply the hunter with either a box blind or a ground blind strategically placed in the CRP. The rifle deer season begins in mid-November and continues for 3 weeks.
