Our Lodge has many unique characteristics, starting with it's main framework. In the mid to late 1950's it was a newly constructed grainery, holding up to 9000 bushels at one time, which in it's day was a huge confined area.
Today we have added on to the main frame allowing us 3500 square feet of living quarters for our guests. It's rustic yet comfortable atmosphere making you comfortable, with all the amenities of home. The living room with it's stone fireplace is adjacent to the kitchen quarters, equipped with all your cooking and clean-up needs, the spiral staircase leads up to the sleeping loft, the soothing atmopsphere make relaxation easy.
For entertainment and relaxation you can play a game of pool or sit in our hot tub, while your buddies try their luck at a game of cards at the gaming table. For you early riser who like a little time to be alone, we offer the sunroom to enjoy the morning sunrise over our beautiful Coteau Hills, which is what we named our business after. One could travel the world and find many beautiful sites of serenity, but you will never feel closer to God himself until you experience all His grandeur on the wide open South Dakota prairie.
As you watch the sun come over the Coteau Hills, and hear a pheasant cackle in the distance, as you breathe in the crisp prairie air and steam rises from your cup of freshly brewed coffee, and you warm your hands around it you think, Man! This is living! You will never forget this feeling for the rest of your life and you will never forget that moment, and you can never look at life quite the same again.
